'Lord Jesus . .  I realise that I am a sinner and that I have broken your laws and actually deserve death . . . I believe that you died on the cross at Calvary to pay the price for my sins and to rescue me from death and hell. . . . . . . . . . I ask you to please forgive me those sins and to wash me clean . . . . . so that I can spend eternity with you and all other believers. . . . I know that this salvation cannot be earned, and that it is a free gift purchased with your precious, sinless blood. . . . . . . . I acknowledge you as my Lord, saviour and master
